Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Solar Consultant to join our team. As a Solar Consultant, you will be responsible for promoting and selling solar energy systems to residential customers. This is a sales-focused role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively market solar solutions.

Duties:

- Conduct thorough consultations with potential customers to assess their energy needs and determine the feasibility of solar installations

- Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and explain the financial incentives available

- Develop customized solar proposals based on customer requirements and provide accurate cost estimates

- Collaborate with engineering and installation teams to ensure seamless project implementation

- Utilize software tools to analyze energy usage, calculate system size, and generate accurate financial projections

- Generate leads through various channels, including door-to-door canvassing, networking events, and referrals

- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize referral opportunities

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and incentives to effectively position our solar solutions in the market

Experience:

- Proven experience in sales, preferably in technical or energy-related fields such as solar sales or energy sales

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and drive results

- Familiarity with software tools used for solar system design and financial analysis is highly desirable

- Experience in door-to-door sales is a plus

- Bilingual proficiency is an advantage for effectively communicating with diverse customer base
